strange thing happening with ADT 07

I'm not sure, I have a strange thing happening with my computer,

Generic Built (ASUS Mother Board)
AMD Athlon 64 running XP Pro SP2
2GB Ram
Nvidia GeForce 6800 GT (AGP8x) 256mb
Dual Monitor

ADT 07 seems to be using 98% of the processor resources, I go to look at a email i received and because adt is using all my resources, it takes 10sec just to multi-task to veiw my email. I have found a work-around, minimize adt and my email pops up with no delay.

has anyone had or having this issue.

I had the exact same issue with ADT 2006. I cannot tell you the exact reason, but I believe it had something to do with either a macro button I had created or a corrupted Profile/CUI file.
The only way I was able to stop the 99% resource usage was to create a new profile from scratch and not include the user created macro button.
I still have the profile in question on my machine (for future research on the error)and even though I have removed the "macro button" from that profile, the button continues to show up in the toolbar after a reboot...strange.

Try creating a new profile or new workspace to see if that solves it. Worked for me.
