How do you add tool palettes separator lines in ADT 2007?
I used to be able to right click in the tool palette and select add a line.
It doesn't seem to be there anymore.

Hmm... I can still do that in ADT 2007 without problem. You might want to try solution 101 (reboot, see if it works...). (Technically it's "Add Separator" that you are looking for, perhaps that's the issue?)Originally Posted by cadkiller

Hello Brian;
Thanks for the reply; but that didn't do it.
I will have to log a support request with Autodesk.
If you can, please let us know what they tell you. I've yet to see this problem....
Brian;
The right click feature for adding line separators to tool palettes, is only available for standard tool palettes and doesn't work for custom palettes. You have to use the content browser to add line separators to custom palettes.
Thanks for the answer, I'm sure it will help others that run into this as well!
I have made many custom palettes and have used the add text and add separator on almost every palette. That doesn't seem to be the issue either, I'm in agreement that I haven't seen it go missing before.
Check the lower left hand corner of your palettes and see if you have a refresh icon. This is from having a read only catalog. That is why the add options are missing. You will also notice that you can no longer copy and paste to these custom palettes. I was told by Autodesk to copy my catalog and redo my palettes so that they aren't read only. I haven't had a chance to do them over again and it is really a pain for me to do so. The migration tools need to be improved.
