Dimension text value increases by 200 when picked via 2 End points

Hi all,

Long time no type etc etc.

I have a user that's having some problem with his dimensions. If he tries to place a linear or aligned dimension selecting the endpoint of two lines the text displays correctly while he is placing the dimension but when he clicks to position the text the displayed text increases by 200. If he places a dimension just selecting two points the dimension is OK.

Anyone got any ideas how to get round this one?

Does this occur within all drawing files or just the odd one-or-two ?

Is this User the only person experiencing this particular issue / problem ?

Hi Mike,

Just one. A similar problem occurred on another drawing but the user got round that one by resetting DIMLFAC back to one.

No, it is a user and he's the only one that has mentioned it. It's strange because it's only happens when he picks certain objects that this problem occurs.

At first I thought it was a 3D object and he was picking opposite corners but the objects are flat 2D lines
