i have my floor plan... go to do an enlarged plan and my room tags aren't able to be viewed on the sheet.
I've checked all the visability settings in all relevant views...
thanks...

Room tags are view specific. Place a room tag in the new view and the tag will be completed from the parent view so long as you are in the same phase.
so do you divide the bldg into 1/8" sheets right off the bat and tag the sheet view...?? it seems like there is something i'm missing...
you can cut and paste room tags from the overall view to the partial views. Thats probably the quickest.
All tags are view specific, so in each view you need to place the tags you want in that view. rooms know what they are so its easy. You can also, just use the copy/paste align tool to grab room tags from one view and paste them to another.
The reason for this is flexibility, you may want one room tag that shows area on some plans and one that shows finish info on others. Its not like xrefs.
