Display order in Display Manager

I am fairly new to the display manager pane. I am connecting to sde server. Once, i am connected, i have the information that i need it. Then i go to display manager, click on the name which i brought in from sde server. I click on display, then create a theme. My problems is that the items i am displaying are polygons and beneath the polygon are the street center lines and names. I would love to put the polygon behind the centerline and street names. Can this be done?

The order they are in the Display Manager will dictate there display order in the drawing. If you want something shown above something else, then drag it above it in the display manger. Hope that makes since.
