Pull down menu missing

I menuload a .mnu file and place it in it's proper place and then I export a new profile. Now when I import the new profile and set to current, the pull down menu is not there.

Any suggestions?

What version of AutoCAD are you using?

A Workspace is a named, saved configuration of the visibility and location of toolbars, pull-down menus, palettes, etc.

Of course if your menu file is commented correctly, then you are on 2005 and all this talk (and links, and links, etc) about workspaces is pointless.

Workspaces were introduced in r2006.

Back to the original problem - I don't believe partial menus are part of a "profile"

So what is a "partial" menu and how do I make a partial into a full so that it is saved in the profile and loads every time?

Please note I have *moved* this thread from the AutoCAD CUI Menus forum to this one...

Why? - AutoCAD 2005 does not us the new(ish) CUI menu system.

Look at things like...

_.Menu -> Will load your AutoCAD Base Menu ( MenuName stores this information ).

_.Menuload -> Will load AutoCAD Partial Menus.

As far as I know, Partial Menu(s) information is stored within AutoCAD Profile's.

Plus refer to the AutoCAD Online Help File [F1] -> Contents tab -> AutoCAD Online Help Manuals -> Customization Guide -> Custom Menus.
