    We created a title bar that has such info included in it. It uses a .vlx program called ltext. It's a piece of freeware from dotsoft. It works great, but can cause some headache when you do a -wblock. It fills in the name of the full drawing path along with the "User" that saved it last (I think or it's the first person that saved it). It works kind of like a diesel string, but gets applied to a piece of text. Hope this helps.

    Hi

    Please explain file w/c as the terms does not mean anything to myself. Sorry.

    Plus, have you looked into such things, as...

    * RText.
    * Fields.
    * Sheet Sets.

    Have a good one, Mike

    Just create an MTEXT entity including the appropriate FIELDS

    IThanks for your replies,
    I already created an attribute but is there a possible way wherein the attribute block will update itself (for ex. file path & time it was modified) everytime you hit save while in the project?

    Sure, but what field type are you using? The DATE field remains static until UPDATEFIELD is executed. See http://rkmcswain.blogspot.com/2005/0...in-fields.html for an idea on how to create a date field that auto-updates
