Yes, I am a little POed right now.
We read the white paper on ABS & RS and assumed it would be possible to do interference check with an ABS model imported into RS. We thought coordination between disciplines is touted as a major benefit of BIM, so this should definitely be possible. After all, "Autodesk Revit Structure is fully interoperable with Autodesk Building Systems," and that would certainly include interference checking, right? WRONG.
I was able to import the ABS model into my RS model, but all I can do is look at the pretty little ducts and chillers. All of the 3D information comes in as a block that cannot be exploded or modified in any way. I've tried just about every import option available, but no luck. Intereference check only works with other linked Revit files?
Someone please help!
