Zoom Extents / Windows slide slowly in AutoCAD 2006 and 2007

If you do a zoom extents or windows in 2006 or 2007 the screen slides (some sort of real life) to it's extents or selected window. It looks nice the first time, but it becomes irritating after a while. Does anyone knows the variable to switch this thing off?

I do understand... I'm trying to remember the system variable that adjusts it and having no luck tracking it down in help yet... it was new with 2006
