Hi all;
I am creating a "dummy" placeholder for a meat slicer for a restaurant. I want to have text that I can change to read "E1", "E2", etc.
So far, I can't even get text to show up.
Where am I going wrong?

All you need is a placeholder for the text in your slicer Rfa.
> create an annotation Rfa > place a label " text for slicer"
> load the annotation Rfa into your Slicer Rfa > place an instance where you want > you'll get an "?"
> select "?" go to properties > look for the "text for slicer" and click the button on the right > add parameter " Slicer Type" as an Instance or Type parameter
> load the Slicer Rfa into your project > place an instance > go to its properties and change the value of the "Slicer Type" parameter into whatever you want.

Thanks for the quick reply!
This is as far as I could get. I just can't get the version called 'instance' to work properly. Another one of those duh moments, I'm sure.
When I insert the instance version into a project, it doesn't only changing of the question mark (parameter).
Thanks in advance

You don't have to label the Slicer annotation again.
Just hand over the parameter Text: EQP#" of the Slicer Annotation parameter as parameter into your Slicer Rfa using the button on the right.
