Default Curtain wall in Stacked walls

Would be nice for doing corner glazing etc to have a stacked wall that included the basecourse, the cill as a sweep, the curtain wall above. Would make it very fast.

At the moment I cannot have a curtain wall as part of a stacked wall.

No, not integral, but you can have it as a "wall in a wall" using edit profile. Or you could alter the panels to other wall types.. I think you are getting lazy up there...

Stacked walls are very lazy yes, thats why we like them

Altering the panels to other types - a good idea! Will give it a go and see what happens, have never really used that yet ..... I wont be able to save it as a type as such, but maybe thats so big a deal...

    WOW!

Lets just get rid of stacked walls all together I dont need them anymore with the curtain wall panels being wall types. That is a very powerful tool - I can see my projects being composed almost eniterley out of curtain walls from now on. Wall types with integral sweeps work fine at coners.

    Thanks for the pointer......

Are ther any problems others have hit with these?

Curtain walls are my favorite...they are so useful when you start infilling wall-types into them. One thing that does sort of bother me is when you delete grids or portions of grids, a lot of times the panel will default back to glazed, which can be rather inconvenient, but not too bad. I wish there was a way of changing the panel type default. I think people are sometimes scared away from curtain walls because they think they are only for towers or something...
