Hey Scott, thank you. I see how the final value would return "height" if the parameter met the If Then conditions. I just didn't know you needed that at the end. it does make sense.

Now I just need to figure out where to use all my new found Formula skills.

    THANKS!

I've never had the privilege of having a discussion over an answer that I've given before. Makes me feel important! LOL!

I'm just glad I had to go to a meeting yesterday afternoon. I didn't have to type so much.

Scott saves the day... again. Thanks for explaining my formula.

This comes so close to what I am looking for but isn't. I think. I have an L shaped countertop with a diagonal face in the inside corner.
Screenshot 2023-03-01 1204 Counter with Angled Inside Corner.jpg
...which may or may not show up when I post this. In any case. If one leg or the other is too short it will run into the diagonal face and the component will fail. I know that I want to limit the length so it doesn't get smaller than the opposite leg's depth + right angle face of the triangle. The formula in my head is intended to keep the leg greater than a formula derived number:
Length of Right Leg not < Depth of Left Leg + Right Angle Faces of Triangle

What that looks like in a Revit approved formula is what has me confounded. I think I may need another parameter in order to control the length parameter, but that may be part of someone's answer.

    Thanks.
