Thanks for the link, great to see, I think this was originally a Sketchup service which is now taking advantage of Revit's native support for sketchup files.

It would be worthwhile checking on the small print of the Form Font agreement

A problem was raised on the Sketch Up models whereby once you stop your subscription you are technically obliged to erase all downloaded models from your system & models

I am not saying this requirement applies here just that you should check.

If it is OK then I think this could be very worthwhile

That's an interesting catch. I would rather just be able to shop a-la-carte and buy the models we need. Imagine using this for a few years, ending your subscription, and then trying to find and delete all the models you used... on the other hand, I guess you could just subscribe for a month, download everything and just walk away so they have to protect themselves somehow.

Looks like the EULA is still the same.

Too restrictive for us, but I'll keep it in mind because they have a great collection of models.

Would I then be able to use the downloads in both Revit and Sketchup?

Looks to me like once you sign up, you can download the files for Revit, SketchUP, Max, Lightwave, and AutoCAD... since the signup page re-directs you to the original formfonts web-site. Then again, they may be keeping the two separate.

Also, these are almost all entourage families specifically intended for presentation and rendering purposes only, no parametric Revit families here.

All educated guesses on my part, I won't sign up until I really need it.

From what I've seen, none of them are truly RFA families. All are SKP or DWG files, whcih can be used in Revit, but contain no parametrics/intelligence.

At first glance it looks like you search a model, and it''l list the available formats it is offered in......and all I can see is revit. I tried advanced searching for basic models, ie:man, lamp, door in skp or 3ds format and found absolutely nothing.

Yes, but once you sign up and download, they are actually in SKP format....not RFA or RVT.

That's very misleading on their part.

Here's the FAQ's page, and includes the "End User Agreement"
    http://revit.formfonts.com/information/faqs.php#6

Roger. You're right about the expiration of your legal use of the models once subscription expires. So, what you have is a $300/year obligation, though enforcing "non-use" of the models after subscription expiration would be something of a monumental task not worth their effort except for obvious and significant end users, I would think. There's something in there about software vendors being on the look out for you. Sounds like a bit of a PITA.
