Plotting DWF files with embedded tiff images

I have drawings with tiff maps. I can publish to dwf files and can preview the files with the maps looking correct, but when I plot the files to the plotter, the tiff images are completely black.
When I plot directly to the plotter without making dwf files, there is no problem.
Has anyone else encountered this problem?

It might be something as simple as what layer you have them set on, I have found this problem in the past but changing the layer seemed to sort out the problem. The other option is to change the tiff file to something like a jpg file and see if that makes a difference.

Are you saying the outputted DWF files contain the TIFF images ( when viewed in something like DWF Viewer / DWF Composer / Autodesk Design Review ) ?

But when Plotted, the TIFF images are missing ?

If yes to the above questions, then maybe...
