ADT 2005 to AutoCAD 2007 back to ADT 2005

We have a client that created dwg's in ADT 2005, we have done work on them in AutoCAD 2007.
We are saving back as 2000 dwg format, because they have ADT 2005.
When they open the files they keep getting "arx error" messages, one after the other.
We have tried loading some enablers but that doesn't seem to help.
any ides?

Why not try to save as 2004 format?

AutoCAD 2007 has the object enabler for ADT 2007 objects built into it. When you opened the file, the 2004 format ADT objects were promoted to ADT 2007 objects. You can not save that file back to 2000 or to 2004 and have the usable ADT objects. The effect is the same as if you had opened the file in ADT 2007.

You could Export to AutoCAD 2004 format, but the result would be an exploded drawing with no ADT objects, which I doubt is the desired result.

Hey Yoshi! Good to see you online! They can also download and install the object enablers from Autodesks website to allow them to view the objects from 2007 - they just wont be able to edit them.
