Default Multiple Pline selection area total

Hi, I use polylines to tally areas of floorplans and wanted to know if there is a way to select multiple Plines and get an area total. I dont think there is, but it would be nice if there were such a command.

    Sure, grab POLYAREA.LSP from http://www.turvill.com/t2/free_stuff/index.htm

If you are not sure what to do with lisp files, check out http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2942

Don't forget about the tried and true, AREA command..... or change all the closed polylines into regions with the REGION command and then select all and run a MASSPROP command to get the cumulative area.

p.s. I'm running AutoCAD 2005 with Land Desktop
