    Great article. Because I'm running Inventor, a notoriously hungry resource pig, my latest computer is already fully Vista compliant.

    The specs -
    AMD Athlon x2 64 +4200
    2 Gb DDR2 RAM
    nVidia GeForce 7600 GS 512 Mb video card
    200 Gb SATA Hard drive
    LG 19" LCD
    DVD super multi-drive burner

    Came with -
    XP Pro, Office 2003 Pro, MYOB Business Basics 1, 3 yr Trend Micro PC-cillin AV, plus more

    For around AUD $3500

    BUT, I sure as hell wont change to Vista for at least 2 years after its release, or SP2, whichever comes second.
