Hi Gang.
I am setting up a very large project(11mSF) on ADT2007. I am trying to figure out my angle on the sheet set manager.
Unfortunately, I have inherited a document layout paradigm that has absolutley no relation to how the building is laid out. An orthagonal grid was laid out over the project that makes no concession to the building geometry.
This is leading in the direction of having to set up 'printing' projects that are different from the 'design' projects (which are more in accord with the different divisions of the building).
My question is, what is the breaking point for the sheet set manager? I have heard that as a sheet set gets really large, the file has a tendedncy to corrupt. I am looking at a set that is well over 1000 sheets.
I was thinking to set up one 'printing' project each as follows:
A) 1:1000 & 1:400 scale plans (approx. 200 sheets)
B) 1:100 scale plans (approx. 400-600 sheets)
C) 1:50 & greater scale plans (?)
D) RCPs (# close to 1:100 scale plans)
E) Sections & Elevations (1-200?)
F) Details
Anybody done something a rediculously large project in ADT2007 and can give some pointers on how you set it up fro printing?
