    Default DWG Import Draw Order

Is there any way to control the draw order of autocad lines and solids when imported into Revit? We have lines that are under solid patterns that should be on top of these shaded regions. They look fine in Autocad of course.

The print order seems to be ok so we are good for now. It would still be great to be able to see it properly.

I know this is an old thread, but... The display order of Autocad entities in Revit depends on the order in which the LAYER was created in Autocad. Really. Hard to believe. Entities created on a new layer in Autocad will appear "behind" everything else in Revit. It has nothing to do with the order in which entities are created in Autocad.

If you need to send something "to the back" of the display order in Revit, create a new layer in Autocad and move these entities to the new layer. Save and reload in Revit. Poof. Magic. Some things about Revit just drive me nuts.
