Default Editing AEC objects in AutoCad 2005

I am using AutoCad 2005 and frequently recieve Arch desktop 3.** drawings which have AEC walls, doors, windows, etc.. If I try and modify the properties of those entities, I won't let me. If I explode them, the doors and windows dissapear, the corners of walls go away and it looks like ****. Am I missing something, please let me know.

    Thanks

    Hi

Please note I've *moved* this Topic (Thread) from the CAD Managment General Forum to this one as I believe it would be better served here.

    Thanks, Mike
