I am soooooo new to AutoCAD 2006, and not very experienced in any version. I am publishing large quantities of dwg files, to my plotter, and all in model space. This works for most of them, but an average of 4 out of 10 show me an error saying the layout is not initialized. I DO NOT have the layout button highlighted on the publish dialog box, only model space. And when I do the tedious task of opening the individual drawings and clicking on layout tab, going back to publish, it shows the same error- Layout not initialized. I should mention page setup has not been done for most of these drawings. Is there some way I can assign a standard page set up to all the drawings, WITHOUT opening each individual one? And why am I getting this error when I am not trying to publish layout? I am confused. Can anyone help me?
