Default Text characters missing parts, and look faint, using Romans font

    Hello All,

So, I have a user of AutoCAD 2005 that has a font showing up on the screen that appears "broken". it displays missing parts of the 4 and the tops of R's and when she plots, it plots very light, almost not readable. Anyone know why this might be? what is causing the text to behave like this? It's romans font which is an autocad default font, does not give us any errors about missing a font or anything, so... I don't know. Thanks all.

an amateurish guess from me, if you haven't tried it, would be to replace the ROMANS font on her pc with the one from yours

oh, well... I suppose I should ask if this happens on every drawing or just one?

    cheers
