Question Audit and Save routine to process a large number of drawing files

    Hi,

I needed some advice. I have a large number of drawings that I need to Audit
on a regular basis. I need to open each one, Audit it, fix any detected
    errors and Save it.

Is there a Macro that will do this automatically, say similar to the batch
    print option.

    Regards

    Mike

Welcome aboard. Please note I'm moving this thread from the forum for experimenting with the tools here on the forum to the AutoLISP forum as you will find your answer there.

Wink Re: Audit and Save routine to process a large number of drawing files

    Sorry, not an AutoLISP answer...

I am the CAD manager of a largish Arch firm. I have been using Hurricane (www.74mph.com) and LOVE it.
I prefer to find free tools to use, but this was only about 50 or 60 bucks. Since I discovered Hurricane, I have been RIPPING IT UP.
I have developed some great cleaning routines, and I can process a few thousand files in a day. Also, it can run in the background and you can open another CAD session and keep working.
    Anyway, thats my two cents...
