    Default Haloed Lines

I am having a problem where I have one duct routed above another. My elevations are fine, but in plan view, not all of the lines of the lower duct that should show dashed are being displayed that way.

It appears this mainly is happening with fittings, an elbow or transition, where most of it will display correctly, but one line may still show up solid.

If that's what I think it is, then it's a known issue with SP2 of ABS 2006 that was fixed in 2007. Sometimes the connector of an elbow doesn't halo properly, but the contour does. If you attach a capture of the issue I can confirm for you.

Unfortunately I'm unaware of a workaround for the problem other than exploding the offending fitting and manually changing the line to the haloed layer.

You are correct. I checked it out on 2007 and it is not an issue. Now if I could only get the OK to upgrade the office to 2007 so I could actually use it.

The only way I have found around it is to grab the lengthen grip on the duct and move it back ever so slightly so it still appears as a single line when zoomed out. The pieces are no longer connected so both show correctly, but at the same time, they are no longer connected.

That will also do it, good to point that out.
