    Frank,

I'm not sure what you mean? You don't need to show the view text in an elevation tag if this is what you are referring to. Go to Settings->View tags->Elevation tags. Select the tag you want to change and toggle the "show view name" checkbox.

Cool Re: Is there a way to have the View names of interior elevation tags read the room names?

Very cool - I may have to learn API so that I can customize it further. For example - in an interior room I may want to label more than one interior elevation with a room name. It would be cool if the command could append the room name with an elevation direction automatically, or simply a sequence number 1, 2, etc.

    Thanks for your help Guy,

    Todd

    Guy,
    Thanks for the tips,
I am really new to the API so I wanted to ask a few basic questions. The small text example you showed. Did you write a separate dll file? Is there any reference material that I could look up how this is configured? I have a bit of C+ experience but it has been quite a few years.
    Thanks again,
    Frank

Any chance you could recompile this for 2008 Guy?

Find attached simple (ie: not much error checking) command doing what you want with sourcecode . Also a video tutorial in the source directory. Just open the .htm file and the flash video should run.

Note: If you don't put the .dll in the c:\ directory you'll need to change the ini file accordingly.

    ROOMNAME ROOMNUMBER
Would it be possible to have it change the Title on Sheet parameter instead of the View Name parameter?

Yes, can do that to. So RoomName RoomNumber added to the Title on Sheet is what you really want?
