Question Line Based Detail: "Generic Curve-Driven Component"?

I noticed this yesterday when right-clicking one end of a line based detail component....the first option after "cancel" was "Drag Generic Curve-Driven Component". I wish these line based components could also be curve driven, but not to my knowledge!! Is this a typo or something to come in the future? Hmmmmm conspiracy theories.....

"technically" a straight line is a "curve"... if I remember correctly a curve with an infinite radius

but yes... I agree with you... it would be nice if it could follow a "curve"
