    Default Customizing the desktop icon

Fairly strange question here - is it possible to edit the acad desktop icon? I can't find where the ico file is located.

For 2007, the icon is in:

    %SystemRoot%\Installer\{5783F2D7-5001-0409-0002-0060B0CE6BBA}\Acad162_icon.exe

You need a program capable of extracting icons from .EXE files. I use http://www.axialis.com/iconworkshop/

Right click on the desk top shortcut, on the short cut tab you have the option to change the icon, I have ADT 2006 & 2007 and both icons are very similar so I changed one of them so I could tell the difference.
