Default Why do sheets work differently to Constructs \ Views

I've ponder this question on many occasions but never come to an answer.

In Constructs Views you create a container - a directory is created. You delete a view construct the .dwg + the .xml is deleted - great

In the sheets tab you create a subset (note not container) no directory is created. You delete a sheet - the dwg remains you need to delete it separately.

You can do all this in the explorer view of the sheet tab but why are things so?

Please put me out of my misery - let me in on the secret.

I hate telling my user "I dunno".

It's because of how the Sheet Set functionality of AutoCAD was integrated with ADT's PN. I agree with what you say. It should be consistant all over and there is a lot of functionality that is needed to make it really great.
