Default Stacked Fractions in text and dimensions

I'm sure it's been requested before.

L>>>O>>>>N>>>>G fractions are ugly and hard to read, plus not having stacked fractions causes issues when importing or linking AutoCAD files.

You know, the funny thing is it took me two years to get the office to START using stacked fractions in AutoCAD, because they where so used to long fractions in R14 that the stacked ones looked weird. Personally I would rather see America pull its collective head out and start using metric; even a stacked fraction is ugly compared to a nice one place precision decimal. And oh the joy of dimensions without units!
But that said, it would be nice.

I'm currently in the throws of starting my first imperial job in years and I already miss the tidy appearance of SI units. If we must use imperial units then I prefer to look of stacked fractions.

There's always the temptation to round display off to the nearest 1/4" (sorry ¼") or whatever just to avoid the uglies but that seems to compromise accuracy in my mind. Funny thing is, in this metric country of ours, on a project documented entirely in metric you will see imperial dimensions scrawled all over the concrete walls as the steel stud guys plan their layouts. I don't get it.
