Default Joining slighltly askew conc. beams

I cannot seem to get the slighltly askew conc. beams in the attached sketch to join as mitered. (I have hidden the 2 radial column lines on the right to clarify the problem) Notice that there is a slight gap in the beam join on the outside of the curved grid A.9.
These beams are not curved and are defined as 48" wide and one foot deep. Top of beam at bottom of slab. We are using Revit Structure 3 with latest build.

Those automatic concrete joins sure can be fussy. I had a quick play and got it to display correctly but the workflow may be a bit awkward depending on your modeling preferences. Typically, I prefer to model the columns first and then come in and layout the framing. In this case, however, the column seems to be the cause of the damaged beam miter join. If you add the framing from grid intersection to grid intersection first the beams clean up as expected with a nice miter. I then added the supporting column on Level 1 with an unconnected height of 4'-0" so it didn't automatically join with the beams above. To finish, I selected the column and used the attach feature from the options bar to attach the top of the column to the underside of the beams. A quick flex of the beam and column sizes and everything appears to hold up. You can further adjust the analytical model and column properties to your liking at this point.
