I have a dormer which covers both sides of the seam in a joined roof (extruded). Has anyone out there had any success creating the dormer opening in, what is essentially 1 dormer - 2 roofs.
Any ideas?

I believe you create the roofs & then cut out where you want the dormer- have you tried this? There is more info in the tutorials & help section.
Try editing both roofs to make an opening for the dormer and then join the roofs.Originally Posted by mpoole.120344
Then, use walls to create the sides of the dormer and apply roof on top to cover it.
I hope this helps.
I thought of that, but being an extruded roof it doesn't like to be editted in plan.
