AutoCAD 2005 crashes when trying to open a sheet set linked drawing

My office is running a mixture of 2005 & 2006 cad machines.
We are just starting to use sheet set manager.

The problem is R2005 works find in some sheet sets, but will crash while trying to open a drawing in others.

I have not had this problem with R2006.

If I try to recover the drawing in R2005 it crashes during the recovery process.

I can open the same drawing in R2006 with no problem, I'll even audit and recover the drawing in R2006 and it still crashes in R2005.

Anyone have any ideas?

What happens if you take Sheet Set Manager out of the equation ( just for testing purposes ) ie

Can AutoCAD 2005 open the problem drawing files ok! or does AutoCAD 2005 still crash ?

I have just performed a quick search through this forum ( AutoCAD Sheet Set Manager ), below are a couple of threads that deal with similar issues / problems...

Internal Error when opening a drawing

Internal Error or Fatal Error when sharing a Sheet Set between different Releases - probably no real help, seeing as the original post has not received any responses. I only offer it here, as it highlights the fact that others have experienced similar issues / problems in the past.
