    Angry 3D Orbit

I am working on 2004. I use the windows standard right click customization. The short cut menu that is displayed by a right click during an active command has 3D orbit listed. If the 3D Orbit is accidentially selected my AutoCad FREEZES, and I am then forced to retrieve my last autosave in amongst the trees of storage. Is there a way to delete the 3D Orbit from the shortcut menu?

    Hi

Check out the following Technical Documents on the Autodesk web site under the Knowledge Base section -

    Question Re: 3D Orbit

I have tried the .dll file with no resolution. I have searched the mnu file and I can not find the correct pop for the shortcut menu. Do you know which one it is?

I'm thinking that you will need to remove and redefine the 3d orbit command name.

Apologies first, it's not a solution to the problem, but I experience similar crash when attempting the 3DORBIT command running AutoCAD Mechanical 2006 (sp1a). I have recently upgraded from 2002 in which I used the orbit commands frequently and without problem (I must have become dependant) short of using multiple viewports I am lost without the functionality.

How good is your computer? I had all kinds of issues with a pentium 4 machine I used to run. I have yet to have similar problems since either upgrading or switching to 06.
