Did a search, found some posts from mid August. Anyone even try Revit on a tablet yet? Opinions on the current tablet specs @ Lenovo? Still integrated graphics..... Anything else there worth looking at?
Thanks,

I'm saving my pennies for the rumored Thinkpad x61. The success of the x41 would indicate that it's successor will be awesome. I'm not worried about the integrated graphics because Revit doesn't really take advantage of the OpenGL anyway... though such a beast with speedy graphics would be wondrous indeed.
I've been reading a lot of review and have narrowed it down the the Fujitsu and Lenovo. Fujitsu if the Lenovo doesn't come out before years end. For me size matters because I've found that even when I've had bigger faster laptops available to me, I've used my old Thinkpad x20 because it was SO much more convenient. In Autocad (because it can't handle Revit) I can draw almost as fast on it as my desktop workstation which is 20 times faster and get more done because I draw any-where, any-time... and actually do.
There is at least one tablet out there with dedicated graphics but I don't remember the details. If this is going to be you're main machine and you need the video power, it may be worth exploring.
Yeah, not looking for it to be main machine for me. We're a lenovo shop anyways, and our refresh on the X series machines is coming up. Just wondering what we might expect. I think for now they will be in the hands of principals etc. Maybe available for field work...
Just curious to know what other people's results have been.
