How do you do wall type legends?

I have a project with 7 differetn wall types. I need to show a legend so I drew one of each type of wall in plan and exported them to a dwg. Then I imported the dwg into a drafting view and will annotate the walls there and add any aditional notes. I did this to avoid drawing arbitrary walls somewhere in the project.

Ho do you do it?

Per the suggestion of some of the forum members, we draw arbitrary walls on a management phase which we put prior to existing construction and then demo all of them in existing phase. This lets the tags be active and correspond correctly while not scheduling.

We use the arbitrary walls method as well, but we have switched to using design options to control the set up. We like to use phases strictly as intended.

Thanks for the ideas. I think for this project I will use the Phase method. I will have to look into Design Options more. People here still sketch by hand most of their options so that is why I am not real familiar with the procedures and therfore reluctant to try with deadlines approaching.
