When I print a multi-sheet DWF, I get blank stripes through the middle of some of the sheets. The file displays right, but prints wrong. Anybody else have this trouble?

I think I've just discovered it has to do with the wipeout command. Wipeouts made of polylines are coming out square or something, and blowing away whole sections of the drawing. Any fixes?
What is publishing the DWF? I didn't think the wipeout geometry would be in the DWF in the first place.
Autocad 2004. And the blank striping only occurs when I print to our HP DesignJet 1050C. When I print to the Xerox copier on 11x17, it comes out perfect.
Could it be a problem with the printer memory?
