I work for a residential firm doing hi-end residential projects, before revit (1 year ago) we have had a very good estimate for our time to be spend on each phase of the project, since we started using revit the time we spend on schemathic design phase and Design development increased a lot, but our construction documentation went down a lot too, I think that now we use more 3d on our presentations for our clients, and they understand better the projects now they get more involved with more understandable information and we can work faster with revit and provide more information in less time, better decisions are made also in earlier stages regarding coordination with structural, electrical and HVAC, is this true for most of you out there too? what are your experiences?
