Default Learning AutoCAD 2007, where to begin

I am a beginner studying AutoCAD from a remote location and I am limited in my physical mobility.
Can someone point me in the right direction for some online literature that breaks things down in layman terms, so I can learn and practice exercises. Help in this area would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks

    Rudy

What exactly are you wanting to learn about?

If you are just wanting to learn about drawing and editing simple entities, take a look at http://www.cadtutor.net/acad/ -- don't worry that those reference older versions, the basic stuff is still the same

On the other hand if you are wanting to learn some of the new 3D stuff, take a look at Heidi Hewett's blog -- http://heidihewett.blogs.com/my_weblog/ -- select a category in the left margin.

I might also suggest ordering an Autocad exercise book that you can keep around the house and practice in your free time. If this interests you I'm sure we can supply you with some recommendations. You'll find having a book in the house as being very valuable, unlike the internet exercises there is a good chance you may still refer to the book years from now if its good just to refresh your skills (even if its slightly out-dated by that time).

That is how I first learned the advanced features of AutoCAD and my main way of study for Revit today (with looking on-line to answer the advanced problems not covered...)
