I just started to mess with dynamic blocks and really like what I see. I will be updating all of my piping blocks to DB's. Is everyone else doing this?

I don't know what Dynamic Blocks are.

I've converted a few, but most are still non-dynamic. I have not found a lot of use out of them for civil work.

So far, I don't see any point in using them for mechanical.
I've been messing with them a bit, but we really don't use blocks at all.
Personally I'd add Dynamic Blocks, but I doubt I'd update too many of my existing blocks unless I had a good reason (need) to do so....

I'm in civil & our CAD mgr has actually created a few for us. I like them, I don't know all the technical stuff involved in them (taking the DB ATP again next month), but we've found some uses for them in civil.Originally Posted by Opie
