Unable to select OLE Objects

I have a user that is working with a drawing from an outside source that seems to have OLE objects embedded in it. The objects appear in the drawing but are not selectable, meaning, I can't even get the "move" cursor to show up when dragging crosshairs over the object in order to right-click and put a checkmark beside "Selectable".

Anyone have any suggestions about how to make these objects selectable again?

right-click over it and chose selectable

Right-clicking over it acts as if it is not there, i.e., a right-click just repeats the last command, or brings up the generic CAD shortcut menu depending on how you have right-click customization set up.

Is there any chance that the OLE Object was inserted on a locked layer?
You might try unlocking some layers to see if it becomes selectable...
