Just out of interest has anyone tried Autocad on an apple mac, and is it any better than a common or garden PC?

Hi "revacservice" ( Sorry, I do not know your real name )
Please note I have *moved* this thread from the AutoCAD Gallery forum to this one, as I feel this particular forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.
Thanks, Mike

I may be wrong (and often am) but I didn't think Autodesk did a Mac version of Acad or any of the vertical products.

You can run AutoCAD on the new Macs using Apple's Boot Camp software. Where you'd run a dual boot environment. I haven't seen anything on the web of someone doing this and running AutoCAD yet. I myself am waiting until Leopard is released before I buy another Mac to play with.
Thanks for all your input, my query was purely out of curiosity and have no intention of using an Apple Mac.
Apple Mac are running a bit of a negative advertising campaign in this neck of the woods claiming to run Microsoft Office etc. and implies that a PC is little more than a game console. This sort of advertising get up my nose and tends to have the opposite effect avoiding the product like the plague.
Thanks again
