Default When using LAST or PREVIOUS I only get the last Object that is in my viewing window

    Hello all,
When in AutoCAD (ACAD 2004 for now), I noticed that when I use the "last" or "previous" I only get the last onject that is in my viewing window. Is there a variable or anything that I can set to make Acad look for the last object in the entire drawing,in my vowing window or not?
    Thank you all in advance,
    Andre

"Last" has always been interpreted as "last-created object currently visible on screen" - until A2007 when it was changed to "last object".

But previous is last object selected (not created), and it shouldn't matter whether it is on screen or not.

"Previous" is a selection set that can contain anything from one object to the entire content of the current space and should always mean that.
