There are common nails located in the rough framing portion of your detail components. Here it is, it has all nail sizes so it's pretty useful. I also threw in an SDS screw, looks good. I have a bunch of simpson hardware too.

I am unable to get these into my section or elevation or detail views only in the drafting views. How come that is the case?

    Thanks
    David

After dropping in to drafting view, I was able to copy/paste to detail view. Wonder if it is somewhere in the model?

You might want to post your request in the MEP forum as well with a hyperlink back to this thread. For myself, I created the unistrut profiles long ago, that I use in sweep as profiles when needed. I don't get into the clamps & other connections to often.

It brings very fond memories and sadness to see this great contribution by "uncle" Bill. Unfortunately, he's no longer with use. Rest in peace, mate!

THANK YOU. It is amazing how difficult it is to find a simple lag bolt drawing in 2D. Again thank you.

If you can get one in 3D, just use the VIEWBASE command to get a 2D view of it. The FLATSHOT command may also work.
