Default Placing rooms from room schedule...

    Hello:

Revit 9 has a feature where you can define new rooms in a room schedule, then insert new rooms using the Basics > Room tool by selecting the room name from the drop down list on the Options bar.

I've set up the rooms in the room schedule, but the list of rooms doesn't appear in the Options bar drop down list.

    What am I doing wrong?

In 9.1 the room drop down list is on the far right hand side of the options bar, and shows wihen the room command is invoked, with the default room in the drop-down list showing as "new".

In the schedule, any room not used, created in the schedule, shows as "not placed" in any field reporting room geometry or locaton, i.e. area, perimeter, level, etc.

Is this what you are seeing?

Make sure the phases are the same between your schedule and you view.
