    Very similar to CAE-Link's free utility:
    Drawing Tabs / Manager for ACAD 2002-2007.

    Yes, but isn't it great to have something that can be built right into AutoCAD - after all, that is what the users have been asking for

    Yes, but what about everyone whose not 07 I thought the new treat was for 07 only.

    taskbar just opens new instances of CAD doesnt it (i dont have it open atm to check)? i would much rather have this addon than the taskbar gizmo. i dont like having lots of things in my taskbar. i use tabs in firefox, why not in autocad?

    It's not a new instance of AutoCAD. It just displays each drawing as a tab on the Windows Task bar.
    If you have a technical question, please find the appropriate forum and ask it there.
