    Angry ANNOTATION TEMPLATE

    i AM TRYING TO CREATE ANNOTATION TEMPLATE, I AM WORKING WITH STREET MAPS AND WOULD LIKE TO ALIGN THE STREET NAMES PARALLEL TO THE CENTERLINE OF THE STREETS. IS THERE A WAY TO ACCOMPLISH THIS.

    If your street centerlines are LINE segments yes, if they are POLYLINES no. It sounds like you are using LINE segments so...

    Open the Annotation Editor and make the appropriate settings, then for rotation do this:

    1. In the Annotation Text box click the elepsis (...) button next to Rotation:
    2. Click the Drop-Down button next to the Expression String: box
    3. In the Expression Chooser dialog expand the Properties folder
    4. Choose Angle from the list and OK
    5. Click OK in Edit Expression
