If you have anything you would like to see added to this, feel free to PM me or start a new thread here in the Tips and Tricks forum. If you are wishing for a solution to a problem or a better way to do something, post a thread in the AutoCAD General forum or the LDT general forum, as there are many talented people just waiting for questions!
another very nice job =) i used the last one you made as a basis for a tips and tricks i sent out here - although mine didnt have the fancy graphics on the front page and i really like the multiple filet command. i hate having to repeat the command every time...
actually, your directions on the fillet / chamfer command are incorrect (at least in ADT 2007). before selecting a line, hit M (multiple) and not U (undo). its still super useful though =)
Yeah, i figured the command would change with the version, thats why i added the lengthy disclaimer on the first page. With ACAD 2005, U enters mUltiple because M is a reserved letter. Thats a good point tho, make sure you pay attention to the command line for options if you are not using ACAD 2005.Originally Posted by Chad_C

I knew some of these, but never thought to put them in writing....Thanks
Be careful with the -purge and reg apps. This might come in handy with 2D drawings, but not with 3D object drawings. I try id this on a ABS drawing. this was 3G large, and after i -purged and reg app it, it growed to 6G. just to let you know it has problems.
Something goofy must be going on if by purging Registered applications the file size is growing... I have never ran across that problem before. I did a quick google search and i could not find anything related to expanding file sizes. Weird!Originally Posted by claus
