Why can't I copy objects from a 2007 format drawing to a 2000 format drawing? When i copy with a base point, it comes with an error message and closes my application.

Have a look at Object Enablers. They may help.
Yeah, that worked. Thanks a bunch.
Do you have the Service Pack 1 or any Hotfixes installed? You can find out about installed service packs by typing about at the command line and then selecting the Product Information button.
If you have a technical question, please find the appropriate forum and ask it there.
You will get a quicker response from your fellow AUGI members than if you sent it to me via a PM or email.

Just a note...
Below comes from the AUGI Forum Guidelins - Forum Don'ts

Do not post the same question to more than one Forum at a time. The term for this is "Cross-Forum Posting" which can be quite confusing and will complicate the Forum process. All but one of the posts will be deleted by the moderators.

I have, therefore merged your two theads together, and placed them in the AutoCAD General forum, where I believe they will be better served.
Thank you,
I am using SurvCAD from Carlson software. I have tried to download the service packs, but they don't work for SurvCAD. I'm still a little fuzy on what proxies really are.
The Service Pack I linked to is for AutoCAD 2007. You did not specify your software earlier.
