Question Does AutoCAD 2005 have dynamic input feature similar to AutoCAD 2007

Im not up to date on the technical jargon but hopefuly i can ask this question and be understood.

In AutoCAD 2007 when u draw a line on the screen it shows what angle and how long the line is at the cursor... do i have this option in AutoCAD2005?? if so how do i turn it on??

also when drawing a line i can type the length and a box shows up for me to type in next to the curser... im assuming both these features have something to do with lines but i dunno how to turn them on,

    Thanx in advance

I think you are referring to Dynamic Input which was added starting in version 2006.

In your version, you can still view the angle and distance (in the status bar) as long as COORDS is set to 2.

Hi "shedus52" ( Sorry, I do not know your real name )

Please note I have *moved* this thread from the AutoCAD Customization forum to this one, as I feel this particular forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.

    Thanks, Mike

Right on the case for Acad 2005 it has an illustration describing dynamic input. It doaesn't come out and say it is, but I took the Core concepts for 2007, and what they are describing sounds just like it. "put the power of the command line at the graphic cursor." I am looking for the same thing as well.
