Reinforcing Detail Componet Families
I thought I would share the recent detail component reinforcing families that I created. We are currently starting our pilot project and right off I ran into problems trying to create our typical concrete details. You can't use the Rebar sketch tool in details, or I should say you can't use the tool to place a 2D sketch, and the detail components that come with Revit were lacking all of the hooks and ties, So I set out to create my own. I have also added a family that will allow you to place multiple rebar sections at one time for instance the top, side and bottom reinforcing for a beam or column, which would be nice if that ability was in the Sketch tool. Anyways here they are and if you have any feedback that would be helpful.
